Tire service
At General Cars and Parts, we offer an extensive tire service, which is also part of our maintenance. During the tire service, we check various important points, such as:
Tire pressure
Tread depth
Damages on the inside and outside
Upon request, we check the rotation direction and tire type
We have three types of tires available: summer tires, winter tires, and all-season tires.
For the MOT inspection, a minimum tread depth of 1.6 to 2.5 mm is required, depending on the type of car and tire.
Winter tire requirements abroad
If you plan to travel abroad, especially during the winter months or for a winter sports holiday, it is important to check whether your tires have the snowflake logo. This is mandatory in several European countries. Additionally, snow chains may also be required. Load capacity & speed
